There’s a limit to what Biden can accomplish by executive action. But with narrow control of Congress, there’s still plenty Democrats can do on health care. Unfortunately, the changes they have in mind won’t make health care more affordable, even as they command huge sums of taxpayer money.

Similarly, contact tracing by public health agencies can be extremely effective but requires little more than organization and the allocation of manpower. Undoing Short-Term Health Plans Is Bad Policy

Scrapping this rule would be bad policy. Short-term plans are an important part of the country’s healthcare infrastructure. Limiting access to them will deny affordable coverage to hundreds of thousands of Americans, including those that desperately need it while they’re temporarily out of work because of the pandemic.
