1776 Commission—comprised of some of America's most distinguished scholars and historians—has released a report presenting a definitive chronicle of the American founding, a powerful description of the effect the principles of the Declaration of Independence have had on this Nation's history, and a dispositive rebuttal of reckless "re-education" attempts that seek to re-frame American history around the idea that the United States is not an exceptional country but an evil one.

Lt Governor Mark Robinson took on the NC Board of Indoctrination( Education) for proposing blatant racist, divisive standards in our schools. Sign the petition below to assure these standards are not adopted. Vote is this Thursday, February, 4, 2021.

THE NORTH CAROLINA STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION will vote Thursday, Feb. 4, to adopt new state social studies standards, kindergarten through high school.

The (CL.B.1) standard states: “Explain how individual values and societal norms contribute to institutional discrimination and the marginalization of minority groups living under the American system of government.”

The proposed standards are political in nature and paint America as being systematically racist. These divisive standards consistently separate Americans into groups in an effort to undermine our unity. The proposed standards indoctrinate our students against our great country and our founders.

NC State Board of Education policies and curriculum standards impact 1,535,687 students, 117 districts, 2,511 district schools, and 190 charter/independent schools in North Carolina. (source: https://ncreports.ondemand.sas.com/src/state?year=2019&lang=en )

The standards are not age-appropriate in the elementary grades. Sign the petition and make your voice heard.
