The Trump administration is making another drastic cut to refugee admissions. Act now and send a message condemning this policy.

John -

Around the world, millions of children like Ismail* live with a hope that they may be able to put the violence of their home countries behind them and live in safety and security.

Ismail was just 7-years old when his school bus was bombed in Yemen. 51 people were killed – 40 of whom were children. Most were under the age of 10. Ismail survived, but sustained severe injuries from flying shrapnel.

Today, the Trump administration chose to turn its back on more children like Ismail by once again cutting the number of refugees eligible to be admitted to the United States, down to just 18,000 next year. This is yet another example of the U.S. failing to offer sanctuary to people displaced by war, famine, collapsed governments and human rights abuses.

The time to act is now. Join me in sending a message to Congress and the president expressing your outrage at this move.

At a time when the world is facing its largest number of displaced people in history, we should be increasing the number of children and families we allow to find safety in the United States. 37,000 people are forced from their homes every day because of conflict and persecution. And more than half of refugees are children.

Tragically, for the millions of children and families impacted by war, the White House is ending our historic position as a safe haven for those fleeing the world’s most dangerous places. We must speak out for children like Ismail today!

Please urge Congress and the president to reject the drastic new refugee cuts and instead raise the cap today!

Thank you for being a voice for kids,
