I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself.

As a state representative, I have fought hard against Governor Ducey and Republicans in the legislature making sure working and immigrant families always had someone in their corner.

Now, as your Chair, I couldn’t be more honored and excited to lead our party as we defend the gains we made while working to FLIP the legislature and elect a Democratic Governor.

As the mother of a 5-year-old boy, it is essential to me that EJ inherits a state that looks out for the least among us, a state that welcomes immigrants with open arms, and a state that cherishes and protects our state’s natural beauty and environment.

It is going to take a strong and robust Arizona Democratic Party to fulfill these promises. I hope you join me as we continue to build on our recent success and elect even more leaders who reflect our progressive values.
