Republican gerrymandering is partially to blame for the extreme
partisanship, conspiracy theory spewing, and devotion to Trump among the
far-right.

Republicans are drawing their own districts, picking their own voters, and
have been sued relentlessly for trying to diminish the voting power of
Black voters across the country.

They were caught red-handed and sued in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin,
North Carolina, and Georgia for targeting Black voters with “surgical
precision.”

Redistricting is currently underway and Republicans like Jim Jordan, who’s
notorious snake-shaped district ensures his permanent re-election, are
pushing for new Congressional maps that will ensure Republicans take the
House in 2022 and hold onto it for years to come.
