John,
You’ve already done so much to protect land and build parks for people. Together, we saw Fishers Peak become Colorado’s newest state park, we secured $900 million a year for the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and we protected the iconic Zion Narrows Trail in Utah forever.
Now I hope you’ll make your membership in The Trust for Public Land official, and join us as a monthly donor. 2021 marks a new beginning in our movement. It’s a chance to move beyond fighting attacks on our parks and public lands — and reunite our communities to reclaim, repair, and restore our natural treasures.
But reversing the abuse and neglect that public lands have suffered over the last few years will be a long, uphill climb. And we need you with us this year. That’s why I’m asking you to make a modest monthly gift of $21 to empower our efforts every single day of 2021.
Your monthly gifts will provide ongoing and immediate support for our most pressing projects and to defend public lands the moment threats arise. By making automatic donations each month, you’ll put your support to work in the most effective way possible to protect our nation’s cherished landscapes, keep public lands in public hands, and create climate-smart cities for more livable communities.
Our goals over the next four years are to protect one million acres of land, create parks within a 10-minute walk of the five million Americans who don’t have access to one, and build 1,000 miles of trails for people to get outdoors. Your $21 monthly gift, starting now, will put us on the path to success through 2021 and beyond. Please join our Monthly Giving Society today and accept my thanks for your extraordinary commitment.
Sincerely,
Kate Worth
