Hi John,

Thank you for joining the Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) community! We started SCAN in 2014 because we were tired of lawmakers telling us that children are the future but then turning around to cut funding for programs that help kids.

With supporters like you, we work to hold politicians accountable and improve the lives of children here at home and around the world.

You can start by helping vulnerable children around the world survive and thrive.

Sadly, 1 in 5 children are now living in war zones around the world. Beyond the horrible violence, hundreds of thousands of children are dying every year from indirect effects of conflict, such as malnutrition, disease and the breakdown of services.

Unfortunately, the president proposed massive cuts to programs that help the most vulnerable children around the world. We can’t afford to ignore these kids and families right now. At a time when more children are suffering from the impact of war, the U.S. should not be cutting funding for programs that help them.

Please help these children today by urging Congress to reject cuts to compassionate, life-saving programs!

Thank you for being a voice for kids,

Mark K. Shriver, CEO
