We started as a march. An outdoor event with hundreds of people showing up and demanding change and taking our demands right to the nation’s capital. That was Mother’s Day 2017, and the world couldn’t be more different today.

But our mission remains the same. [[link removed]]

And we’ve pivoted and evolved as an organization so that our core focus - maternal health - continues to be what brings people like you and me together.

This year we are hosting two national, virtual events. The first event will be a Town hall to drive public discussion on Federal and State efforts to expand and extend Medicaid coverage through expert panels and virtual networking sessions with relevant leaders.

We are also preparing for a new event this year! March for Moms will be hosting a multi-session policy workshop to support the advocacy needs of community-based organizations in establishing or extending new models of care for mothers.

With a specific aim to address inequities in care among underserved communities, talk about the challenges experienced, and learn from each other.

Support from donors like you help make our virtual events a possibility. They help make our advocacy toolkit a reality. And they help us continue to advocate for moms from Capitol Hill to town halls across this country.
