Hey there,

We saw a lot of firsts this month.

We swore in Vice President Kamala Harris as our nation's first Black American, first South Asian American, and first woman VP. Georgia voters elected Reverend Raphael Warnock as the first Black senator to represent their state, and they flipped the Senate when they elected Jon Ossoff, too.

There's a lot to celebrate, but we can't rest on our laurels, friend. The events of this month also proved how truly vulnerable our democracy can be, and our next challenge is right around the corner.

History shows that the House majority will be at its most vulnerable in 2022. As we head into this challenge, it's on us to make sure that Derek and other Democrats have the support they need to hold onto their seats so they can keep fighting for the people.

Derek has been able to lean on this team before to help make history and build our democracy back better. And if we plan to keep on making history, we need to start investing in this movement, right here and right now.

Can we count on you to chip in $10, or whatever you can, before our first end-of-month deadline of the year? What we do now will set us up for success in the future, so let's start this movement on strong footing by hitting our goal.
