Through a year of uncertainty, heartache, and instability, our movement has been able to shine through as beacons of hope and fight for bold and long-lasting change in our communities.
In a year, we traded canvassing for legislating – a feat that could not have been accomplished without supporters like you who believed in our movement from the very start, and got us where we are today. But our work is just getting started, and we need to be prepared to fight hard if we want to keep our momentum going strong.

John, I decided to run for Congress because I saw firsthand how so many families are being locked out of opportunity by a system that's been rigged by and for the wealthy and privileged few. Now that we've made it to Congress, I'm determined to continue fighting for these same communities and work to bring the real, long-lasting change we deserve.
From working to bring immediate and widespread Covid-19 relief to our cities to working to bring a New Deal for Education to repair and rebuild the public education system, I will continue to fully dedicate my time in Congress to making sure that the needs of our families, children, and working class folks are met.
