In January, tens of thousands of Texans took action with Boot Texas Republicans to condemn Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, and Ken Paxton for their seditious attacks on democracy and failure to stand up to the burgeoning fascist-wing of the Republican Party.
Hundreds of you stepped up and made contributions to Boot Texas Republicans, making this our best month ever, and allowing us to grow our impact across the state.
We’re thrilled with our momentum and excited to see what comes next.
We originally started this group to hold Greg Abbott accountable for his botched handling of coronavirus in Texas and his systematic attacks on voting rights leading up to the 2020 elections.
Now, our movement has grown. We are still focused on holding Abbott accountable -- but we’ve realized there’s so much more work to do. Ted Cruz has garnered national ire for his role in inciting the coup at the Capitol, and Ken Paxton has also made a name for himself for using the office of the Texas Attorney General to bring bogus lawsuits and further undermine voting rights in Texas. If we keep working together, we have a chance to boot them ALL.
