Did you see Suzanne's note two days ago?
Would you take a moment and chip in $3 to help us meet our goal of raising $7500 by midnight tonight? [link removed]
Across the country, Republican leaders are peddling conspiracy theories and actively working to cut back voting rights, vote-by-mail, polling place hours, and more. And they're in position to gerrymander lots of districts in their favor.
We have to get ready. We have to start the organizing work now.
Please, chip in and let's make sure that we exceed Suzanne's first goal of the new year. [link removed]

A few days ago, the Oregon Republican Party formally voted to declare the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol "a 'false flag' operation designed to discredit President Trump, his supporters, and all conservative Republicans."
This is madness. It's a conspiracy theory that's not worthy of a fringe blog, much less one of our major political parties in Oregon.
These dangerous falsehoods spread like wildfire, while the truth struggles to find its way.
I need your help. We need to start the hard work of organizing, communicating, and mobilizing right now.
The midterm elections are traditionally very difficult.
In Bill Clinton's first term, we lost the House in 1994.
In Barack Obama's first term, we lost the House in 2010.
Now, in Joe Biden's first term, we're starting with the smallest House majority in 20 years.
We simply cannot rest. We cannot wait to get organized. With conspiracy theories spreading among Republican elected officials and party leaders, we cannot be caught off guard.
So I'm asking you right now: Please chip in $3 to help start our organizing work in 2021. We need to raise at least $7500 by the end of January to stay on track with our goals. [link removed]
This is important. We can't afford to wait.
Suzanne
