Team, we reached a milestone in our goal to raise $1.7 million.

I just checked in with my team, and they told me we have less than $500,000 left to go ($428,474.71 to be exact). That may sound like a lot -- and it is -- but this means our grassroots team raised over $1.2 million in less than a week. That's incredible.

This is the final stretch, team. Will you chip in $5 to help us reach our goal by September 30th at 11:59 p.m.?

I would be remiss if I didn't take a moment to express how grateful I am for the thousands of donations that have come in so far. When we announced such an ambitious goal, I'll admit that I was a bit uncertain as to whether we'd get there.

It was a huge risk. But right now, I'm feeling more confident than ever that we can actually hit our goal.

And if we do, not only will we continue to have the resources to stay in the race, we'll be on a path to have the resources to win.
