Team,

Despite the chaos this month has brought, I want you to know that I am more proud of and committed to representing this district in Congress than ever before.

When insurrectionists attempted a violent coup at the Capitol, my colleagues and I went right back to work doing the people's business well through the night.

When it became clear that former President Trump was responsible for inciting that terrible attack, we impeached him -- for the second time.

Then, on January 20th, we saw the fruits of our labor, years of organizing, that led to the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to the White House.

It's clear, this result didn't materialize out of nowhere. Americans everywhere mobilized, volunteered, donated, and VOTED to make this happen.

And now, it's time to get back down to work. We need to keep up this level of mobilization in order to ensure that we can fight back against Trumpists and the Sedition Caucus in Congress -- and to defeat any dangerous, right-wing candidates at the ballot box.

That's why we're asking for recurring donors. This month we didn't have time to think about our fundraising numbers, as every single week made history and brought novel challenges, because my colleagues and I were focused on the work -- and I expect many more months of hard work ahead. That's why we're looking for people who can keep our campaign going strong, not just today or tomorrow, but in the long term -- when it matters most.

So, can I count on you? You can use this link to set up your recurring donation: [link removed]

Thank you so much,
- Gerry Connolly
