FIRST: Jamaal announced that he would run for Congress in June of 2019 to
represent the people of the Bronx and Westchester, taking on an entrenched
incumbent for the first time in over three decades.

THEN: Our grassroots movement organized, mobilized, and delivered a win
for working-class people and families — not just in New York's 16th
District, but also for other progressive challengers like Jamaal, in
Georgia for the U.S. Senate, and nationwide for the Biden presidency.

NOW: We're in the halls of Congress, fighting every day to bring solutions
that meet the scale and scope of the crises we face, challenging the myth
of American exceptionalism, and rooting out white supremacy in our
institutions.
