We’ve long speculated what Trump’s future plans might be.

Kevin McCarthy may have just given us the answer, at least for the next two years.

Last week, Kevin McCarthy went to Florida to meet with Donald Trump. The purpose of their meeting? Make sure Trump is helping to lead the Republicans’ efforts to take back a House majority in 2022.

We here at Team Levin think it’s remarkable that McCarthy is enlisting the man who brought new radicals like Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor-Greene to the House. It just goes to show the depths today’s GOP will go to exploit political fissures in this country.

We’re also on high alert because we know CA-49 is at the very top of Kevin McCarthy’s list. We must be ready for the fight ahead:
