Tech companies like Facebook, Google, and YouTube have banned political ads since the election to stop the spread of disinformation.

But Politico reports that the political ad bans are "hitting campaigns during a crucial fundraising window, cutting off a key pipeline to potential supporters and disrupting early planning for the next round of elections."

This ad ban is going to hit grassroots campaigns much harder than shady Super PACs -- and that means Democrats are at a huge disadvantage.
