This month has been a roller coaster, but I’ve continued to pour my energy into legislating and organizing for justice and equity. This month alone, my team and I have:
Been fighting for $2,000 survival checks and equitable vaccine distribution in response to the pandemic;
Led the call for a comprehensive investigation into the violent insurrection at the Capitol;
Sent a letter to President Biden, in partnership with Rep. Cori Bush and dozens of colleagues, calling on him to commute all federal death sentences; and
Re-introduced legislation to end the federal death penalty once and for all.
