Hi there,

I hope you and your loved ones are safe, healthy, and doing well as we begin a new year.

Last year was challenging for everyone. We all had to adapt to a new normal, filled with so many uncertainties.

For Special Olympics athletes, 2020 brought cancelled games, the familiar feeling of isolation, and a new fear of being at greater risk for COVID-19. It was an incredibly tough year for athletes and their families. That’s why we’re determined to make 2021 our strongest and brightest year yet for athletes –– and we need your support to make this possible.

Donate to our 2021 Fund to help Special Olympics teams return to the field when it’s safe to do so this year. Your gift means everything to athletes! Give now >>

With a gift to the 2021 Fund, you can help athletes discover their full potential this year –– athletes like Will. Through Special Olympics, Will found joy in his favorite sports, like basketball, floor hockey, and softball. He found his voice, and now works as a public speaker and local Athlete Congress member in New York. He found lasting friendships with his coaches, who continue to support his health and wellbeing throughout the pandemic.

“I am truly grateful in the knowledge that has been passed to me by my coaches.  They tell me to continue to improve my wellbeing, health and continue to exercise during this difficult time...I know that there is a bright side at the end of the tunnel. The fact knowing we’ll be competing again, continue to form new bonds and be able to make new memories is helping me cope with this.”

–– Will

Will you help change the lives of even more athletes like Will this year? Join our 2021 Fund to help us give athletes everything they need to return safely to the field, court, and pool!
