It’s been an exhausting and strenuous time for the U.S. Postal Service. During the pandemic, we have seen our cherished United States Postal Service and postal workers under constant pressure caused by Donald Trump and the leadership he installed at the USPS. From gutting the institution during a presidential election that relied heavily on collecting mail-in ballots, to USPS employees working tirelessly to deliver Americans their medication, paychecks and letters, the USPS has been pushed to the brink and needs to be fully restored. President Joe Biden must take swift action to make that a reality.
To help strengthen the USPS, President Biden must immediately fill the four current vacancies on the USPS Board of Governors to put the power back in the hands of qualified leaders who believe in the mission of the postal service. Will you stand with us and the Postal Service to build back better?
The current Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, is still carrying out his agenda to slash service, even during this pandemic in which mail delivery is needed more than ever.
Americans deserve USPS leaders who will fully support our underserved communities, help heal our struggling economy, and champion emergency COVID relief for the USPS right now.
Replacing the current leadership in the USPS, who have deliberately sought to undermine the agency, with qualified leaders is imperative to restore the USPS to its rightful role, providing an invaluable the service to the people.
