Here’s the deal:
Reaching our $30,000 email fundraising goal for the month of January is going to come down to the wire.
As of 2:27 pm EST, we’ve raised $25,248 over email to help keep Ayanna fighting for progress in the halls of Congress. We still need to raise $4,752 before tomorrow night at midnight.
After the election, we saw a slowdown in our fundraising, so it’s critical that we reach this goal and show the strength of this movement. If 200 people donate $23.76 in response to this email, then we’ll hit our goal and won’t need to send any more emails this weekend.
Ayanna rejects all corporate PAC contributions because she knows that you can’t build a people-powered movement with corporate cash. So, we’re relying on people like you, to help us reach our goal before tomorrow night.
Ayanna is focused on legislating, advocating, and organizing for real change for all of our communities. We want it to keep it that way, and grassroots donations are a major reason why Ayanna is able to devote so much time and energy to legislating - not fundraising.
