Hey there,

With the impeachment vote, members of the GOP are just weighing the political price of holding Donald Trump and his seditious mob accountable.

Senator Mitt Romney -- the ONLY Republican who voted to convict Trump in the first impeachment trial -- just said this: "I believe that what is being alleged and what we saw, which is incitement to insurrection, is an impeachable offense. If not, what is?"

According to The New York Times, not much may change this second time around: "Other Senate Republicans made it clear that they opposed even the idea of a trial and would try to dismiss the charge before it began."

We always knew that the GOP's platitudes surrounding the Capitol invasion on January 6 were meaningless. But the fact that Republicans are STILL bowing to Trump -- or at the very least fearing the political price of convicting him -- is beyond upsetting.

And dangerous.

If Congress commits to forgive and forget an attempted coup, then our democracy is in an even more fragile state than previously thought. We MUST take a stand against this, so please, confirm with us before it's too late:

Should the Senate convict Donald Trump?
