Once you understand that our government is truly run by and for the extremely wealthy, it becomes cleared that all our media is state-run media. The media's job is not to tell you the news. It's not even to entertain you during prime time. The media's job is to manufacture your consent for whatever the corporate overlords want to do, and to sell you drugs, electronics and unhealthy food choices during commercial breaks.
