John,
The last time a Republican candidate was elected as mayor of Allentown was 1994—nearly three decades ago. And for the past FIVE decades, Allentown has voted Democratic in the presidential election.
What does this tell us?
The democratic candidate that wins the Allentown primary is almost guaranteed to win the general election.
The primary is in three and a half months. That's why I'm going hard now— and why it's so critical we hit our early fundraising goals.
With two days left in the month, we're just $713 short of our January goal. If you and 28 other supporters make a $25 contribution today, we can meet it.

John , I'm a social worker, educator, and activist. I don't come from wealth. In fact, I know what it's like to worry about how to keep the heat on and put food on the table—like much of the working class population in Allentown. That's who I represent and who I have— and always will —fight for.
My fundraising goals are modest because I've learned to be resourceful and I have a dedicated team of volunteers by my side—volunteers that also helped me campaign for the Allentown School Board and City Council—races I won.
John, I know we can do this. But with less than 48 hours in the month, I need you by my side. Will you help me meet my fundraising goal for January?

Every contribution—no matter the amount—has an impact.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me, in this campaign, and in this movement. Individually we are one drop—together we are an ocean. Let's make some waves!
With hope and gratitude,
Ce-Ce Gerlach
P.S. I’m always interested in hearing your thoughts, concerns, and dreams for Allentown’s future. You can reply to this email and trust that I’ll be listening.
