Supreme Court Considers Voting Rights
The National Congress of American Indians filed a brief in a Supreme Court case
that looks at whether Arizona laws on out-of-precinct ballots and ballot
collection violate Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

Crow Tribe Hunting Rights
The Crow Tribe asked a Wyoming court to vacate the judgment from a case decided
in the 1990s. Allowing the out-dated judgment to bar off-reservation treaty
hunting rights would be a profound injustice .

Biden Actions Promote Tribal Sovereignty
Among President Biden's first actions were several that began to dismantle the
past administration's callous disregard for tribal sovereignty. Actions
included:

* revoking the Keystone XL pipeline permit

* requesting a review of the Bears Ears monument boundaries
