John, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is trying to come after Cori, and we won’t stand for it.
On January 13, Cori and her team were walking to a vote when Majorie Taylor Greene came up behind them, unmasked and ranting into her phone — only one day after multiple colleagues in Congress had tested positive for COVID-19 from being stuck in a room with Taylor Greene during the white supremacist attack on the Capitol.
Cori then repeatedly called out for Taylor Greene to put on her mask to protect herself and those around her. In response, Taylor Greene and her staff responded by lashing out, yelling “Stop inciting violence with Black Lives Matter.”
Cori is moving her office away from Taylor Greene. But she’s not doing it out of fear. She’s doing it to be able to continue doing the work for the people of St. Louis. She is refusing to have to keep looking over her shoulder, wondering if a white supremacist colleague is conspiring against her and her team. Cori is in Congress to do the people’s work — and nobody is going to stop her from doing it.
Ever since Cori led the call to expel every member of Congress who incited the insurrection on the Capitol with a bill, Taylor Greene and her seditionist friends have attacked and mocked Cori’s leadership in Congress.
Will you chip in right now to show Cori that she has our support? Your donation sends a powerful message that we won’t stand for hate, fear mongering, and white supremacy in the U.S. Capitol.

This is not the first time Taylor Greene has verbally attacked Cori. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, she accused Cori on Twitter of leading a mob that called for “the rape, murder, and burning of the home” of a family in St. Louis, targeting Cori publicly as a an enemy to Taylor Greene’s hundreds of thousands of followers.
It’s clear that Taylor Greene is terrified of Cori’s bill. But, it will take more than just legislation — we need every person who sees this hatred that Cori has endured to stand with us now and support Cori.
In solidarity,
Team Cori
