Our first month in office has shown us that people are ready for bold,
progressive change, and Jamaal is leading this fight in Washington.

For example, a recent poll showed that the COUP Act — Jamaal's first piece
of legislation that calls for creating a national commission to
investigate ties between white supremacists and Capitol Police — is
supported by 66% of voters polled, including 61% of Republicans and 59% of
independents. This groundbreaking legislation is the first of Jamaal's
innovative efforts to create policies that meet the scale and scope of the
crises we face.

As Jamaal continues to disrupt the status quo in Congress, we need to
reach as many supporters of our progressive agenda as we can to grow our
movement and pass through legislation that meets the needs of the people.
