I'm absolutely appalled that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was just assigned to serve on the House education committee in Congress. After denying that the shootings at Sandy Hook and Parkland ever happened – statements she has refused to apologize for or renounce – Rep. Greene has no place setting policy for our schools.

Vicious lies like Rep. Greene's have put people like me in serious danger. For years, hoaxers and conspiracy theorists have relentlessly attacked me through mail, phone calls, social media and even in-person.

They've threatened to shoot me and slit my wrists for talking about the Sandy Hook tragedy.

They've defaced pictures of my beautiful butterfly Dylan and other children who have been murdered.

They've demanded to see his autopsy, his birth and death certificates and images of his dead body.

And they've made countless claims that I'm a "crisis actress" and my baby boy never existed.

The toll this harassment has taken is unbearable, and I'm fearful that not holding Rep. Greene accountable and allowing her to serve on the House education committee will further embolden dangerous conspiracy theorists.
