At the end of this email I'm going to ask you to make a contribution of $10 or more to our campaign. But first, I want to take a moment to tell you what I'm working on in the Senate and how your donation today can help.

We started out this month working to elect Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. This grassroots team raised over $35,000 to fund important voter mobilization efforts -- and thanks to you, we won both seats, flipped the Senate, and made Mitch McConnell the Senate Minority Leader.

But we hardly got time to celebrate, because the next day Donald Trump incited his supporters to violently storm the Capitol and hunt down lawmakers. We pivoted our attention to holding accountable those who spread conspiracy theories about the validity of November's election and encouraged violence against the federal government.

The House voted to impeach Donald Trump -- making him the only president in American history to be impeached twice -- and last week, my colleagues in the Senate received those charges and began setting the stage for a trial.

In the meantime, we got to work delivering on our promises to the American people. We put voting rights front and center with our first bill, the For the People Act of 2021, and we have a lot more on the way.

As we wrap up this month and look ahead, my team and I are focused on continuing to heal our nation and deliver progress where it matters most.
