Friend,

When I first ran for Congress in 2018, I made a promise that I would answer only to my constituents, not PACs or corporate checkbooks.

Today, that promise holds true. I remain the only Member of Congress to not accept a dime in PAC money. No corporate PAC dollars. No fellow lawmakers PAC dollars. No PACs. Members of Congress should be working for the people we represent, not for one another or for corporate interests.

In fact, the culture of corporate PAC funding seems to be changing fast. Let me explain.

Dozens of corporate PACs have recognized the gravity and implications of the insurrection that occurred at the Capitol on January 6th, and have cut-off funding to those members of Congress who voted against certifying the recent presidential election.

Money talks LOUDLY in Washington, so this is a big deal. These donations are intended to influence lawmakers and generate corporate access to members of Congress. But that's changing, and I've been trying to do it differently all along.

I've always relied on small-dollar donations from folks like you who want better for our country and from our legislators, and that's never mattered more than right now. We've set an end-of-month goal of $30,000 to begin to build our grassroots fundraising base for the next two years: Will you help?

Be part of the future of campaign finance by investing a small-dollar donation of $5 or more before midnight on Sunday -- and become an investor in a better democracy.
