I am reaching out today to ask you to make a contribution to our campaign ahead of our first big fundraising deadline since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn in.

It’s been less than two weeks since that historic day when President Biden made an emotional plea for unity to move us out of this pandemic, rebuild our country, and address the many challenges we face.

Sadly, Republicans have already signaled they’re not interested in unity and are already gearing up for scorched earth, partisan warfare in 2022.

It’s going to take real, grassroots strength to fight back and make progress on the issues that matter most. Will you pitch in what you can today to help us reach our first fundraising goal of 2021 and make sure we’re prepared for the fights ahead?

We finally have a majority in the US Senate — and we need to keep it and expand on it so that we have an opportunity to make real and lasting progress for the American people.

Big corporate and GOP interests will spend whatever it takes to maintain their influence and advantages. And we need to be ready.

You are a critical partner in this. Your engagement makes all the difference. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask, will you consider pitching in today to help us close our fundraising gap and reach this important first marker of our campaign’s strength?

My time is your time — and I don’t want to spend it worrying about our campaign’s fundraising. That’s only possible because of the contributions from grassroots supporters like you.

Thank you for being part of this. We have a lot of work to do together.

Chris
