Here's Mitch McConnell's latest reason for demanding the Senate push back Donald Trump's impeachment trial: “Senate Republicans strongly believe we need a full and fair process where the former president can mount a defense and the Senate can properly consider the factual, legal and constitutional questions at stake.”
You know, it's interesting Mitch is so adamant about making sure a thorough trial takes place this time, now that he's in the minority.
We could have sworn this was the same guy who refused to allow evidence to be presented or witnesses deposed during the last impeachment trial.
Oh, and speaking of hearing everyone out, what did Mitch do for dozens of Barack Obama's judicial appointees? It seems like he just can't recall.
