Greetings John,
After delivering a climate justice win by ending the Keystone XL pipeline last week, President Biden delivered on more campaign promises in the fight against climate change by freezing new oil drilling on federal lands and calling on Congress to eliminate ALL federal subsidies for fossil fuels.
This victory was made possible through the tenacity and commitment of youth organizers who rallied to #Vote4OurFuture and launch the era of the Green New Deal. Now, more than ever, we have an opportunity to push bold action on climate change, but we need your support to make that possible.
Will you sign the national petition right now calling on President Biden to #StopLine3 immediately and invoke a climate test for all fossil fuel projects?
This will be a major climate test for President Biden, and if he means what he says about taking bold climate action, the construction of the Line 3 pipeline must be stopped.
Indigenous water protectors and allies in Minnesota have been fighting this project for years. But now the bulldozers have arrived to plow through sacred wild rice watersheds, over 800 wetlands, and 200+ bodies of water in Ojibwe treaty territory.
Each week, Indigenous water protectors are taking peaceful direct action to protect their land. But the drones are overhead and the police are militarized.
In order to get Biden’s attention, we need thousands of signatures, but that’s not all. As we saw with the fights against Keystone XL and Dakota Access, it will take deep organizing and all of us supporting the frontline resistance on the ground with supplies, bail money, online amplification, and more.
Will you donate $20.21, or however much you can, to support our youth-led movement for climate justice?
