Our nation is currently at a crossroads. The Left wants to confirm radical nominees to run significant government departments, force American taxpayers to fund abortion, grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, and pass H.R. 1 to implement a federal takeover of our elections.

Mayorkas Confirmation
On Monday, the Senate will vote on the confirmation of Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Department of Homeland Security—Alejandro Mayorkas.

We must not forget, people are policy, and Mayorkas’s policy positions are clear—he’s for open borders and amnesty.

As the DACA program architect and a leading advocate of amnesty, Mayorkas pushed to admit millions of illegal immigrants and to grant citizenship for the 11 million or more illegal immigrants already in the US.

And during the Obama administration, Mayorkas served in the Department of Homeland Security as Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. During this time, Obama’s Inspector General revealed that Alejandro Mayorkas gave green-cards to wealthy, well-connected Chinese nationals who had ties to Democratic Party donors.

These facts alone disqualify him from leading the Department of Homeland Security.

This past week, we released a key vote <[link removed]> urging senators to oppose Mayorkas’ nomination, and we need you to do the same.

This past week, Heritage Action, along with 28 other conservative organizations, signed a letter <[link removed]> rejecting efforts to abolish the Senate filibuster.

The legislative filibuster is the only thing standing between our values and the Left’s legislative agenda. With unified liberal control of Congress and the White House, abolishing the filibuster would effectively start the clock ticking on a Pelosi-led effort to accomplish long term left-wing goals such as:



- Packing the Supreme Court
- Passing amnesty
- Restricting our rights to own firearms
- Forcing taxpayers to fund abortion-on-demand
- Implementing the Green New Deal
- Defunding our police
- Passing laws to federalize and take over our election processes

- H.R. 1 — Pelosi is planning a vote on H.R. 1 in February. This is the first battle in the fight to defend free and fair elections in our country. The bill is designed to rig the election system in favor of Democratic politicians by undermining America’s electoral process. - Biden’s Pro-Abortion Executive Order — This past week, President Biden rescinded the Mexico City policy. The Mexico City policy is an order that prevented American taxpayers from funding international non-profit organizations that provide abortions. By removing the policy, Biden has effectively committed American taxpayer dollars to fund abortion in other countries.
