Two weeks ago, I announced that I was backing a People’s Vote. I was elected as a Conservative MP, so let me tell you that this was not an easy decision.

But the thing that swayed me more than anything was the letters and emails I received from my constituents asking for a final say referendum.

In the end, the only way out of this political crisis is to trust the people.

I know thoughtful, polite letters from constituents have a huge impact how my colleagues in Parliament think and act. So it's crucial that you make your voices heard.
