| | Today, January 29th, House Bill 60 passed the Senate Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Standing Committee with a technical amendment by a vote of 5-2-1. It will now head to the Senate Floor for consideration. |
| | Since the start of the 2021 Legislative Session, the Connecticut General Assembly has seen the introduction of multiple firearm-related bill proposals. |
| | The National Rifle Association teamed with three Virginia residents and filed a lawsuit on Friday against Fairfax County for their unconstitutional ban on firearm possession in parks and in areas adjacent to certain events. |
| | Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed Permitless Carry legislation, House Bill 102, by a 6 to 5 vote. The measure now heads to the Senate Floor for a full vote. |
| | Today, the National Rifle Association of America and three individuals sued the County of Fairfax, Virginia, alleging that its ban on possessing firearms in parks violates the Virginia Constitution’s right to keep and bear arms. The lawsuit also challenges the prohibition on possession of a firearm in places adjacent to permitted events and events that require a permit but do not have one. |
| | Since the start of the 2021 Legislative Session, the Massachusetts House has seen the introduction of multiple anti-gun bills. |
| | On February 1st, the House General Laws Committee will hear House Bill 52 and House Bill 212, to reduce arbitrary boundaries where law-abiding citizens are left defenseless. |
| | "Red Flag" Is Back & It's Worse Than Before |
| | Yesterday, both chambers of the Iowa General Assembly passed Senate Joint Resolution 7 to propose an amendment to the state Constitution affirming and recognizing the right of Iowans’ to keep and bear arms as a fundamental individual right. SJR 7 passed the Senate by a vote of 29-18 and the House by a vote of 58-41. |
