Two of our newest Democratic Senators -- Rev. Raphael Warnock of Georgia and Capt. Mark Kelly of Arizona -- will be top targets for the GOP to unseat in the 2022 midterm elections.
Senators Warnock and Kelly won their seats in special elections -- meaning they have to run again in the next election to keep these seats blue. So, we need to start preparing to win now.
With our new Democratic majority, we can get to work on the big issues like immigration reform, commonsense gun safety, raising the minimum wage, and taking action to fight climate change.
We can ensure that our government is doing everything we can to support working families and small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and turn our vaccination plan around.
But we know that Republicans will stop at nothing to block our progress -- and they will do everything in their power to take back control of the Senate from the Democrats in 2022.
