[[link removed]]Democrat,
With January coming to a close, we are very excited to soon be launching our NJDSC Black History Month programming on Monday. With the incredible contributions made to our democracy this past year by[[link removed]] leaders like Vice President Kamala Harris, Stacey Abrams and many others, we could think of no better way to mark the occasion than by celebrating Black women leaders in our Democratic Party. You will see much more information on our plans on Monday and I look forward to joining together to celebrate the Black women who have been the driving force of our Democratic Party for so long, and who so clearly deserve this recognition.

Governor Murphy and his team continue to focus their efforts on building out COVID-19 vaccine distribution capacity while we await the Biden administration taking steps to increase the supply of vaccine doses. When that happens New Jersey will be ready, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Murphy administration and of countless county and local officials who have opened their own vaccine clinics. Collectively, New Jersey distribution sites have now vaccinated over 700,000 residents with first doses and this should continue to ramp up with additional vaccine doses being allocated to our state.

Header: President Biden Update [[link removed]]
President Biden continues making an aggressive push for Congress to provide much needed relief to people, small businesses, state and local governments and others impacted by COVID-19. His $1.9 trillion proposal [[link removed]] would include direct payments to struggling Americans as well as significant investments in vaccine production and distribution, testing and contact tracing and many other priorities designed to help us weather this storm. We at NJDSC are thankful that our federal representatives are on board supporting President Biden’s plan and we call on Congress to move forward immediately to provide the relief that the American people need.
Thank you,
Chairman John Currie
