I’m so excited to connect with you! My name’s Greta and I’m a new member of Jenn’s campaign. I wanted to make sure to introduce myself because you will definitely be hearing from me :) I’m helping Jenn break through the noise online and connect with Virginians statewide.

Even though this is an unprecedented time to be campaigning, and we won’t be able to connect IRL as much as we would want, I have some big plans for us to use every digital tool in our toolbelt to bring Jenn and her vision to you.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. You may not know but this Sunday (two days!) is our FIRST budget deadline of the election year. In fact, voting starts in about three months. (Ahh!!) Can I count on you to chip now? If you give to this email, you will have a direct impact on resourcing Jenn’s digital strategy in the coming weeks.

I’ve worked on many campaigns, and I know what it takes to win.

I know Jenn can win this election, but only if we have the money to compete. Here are three reasons to donate right now:

Jenn’s polling shows that our biggest hurdle is her name recognition. When people get to know her and hear her vision, she takes the lead and honestly will win this race. No doubt in my mind.
Jenn’s currently being outspent but we are not seeing that change the shape of this race. Guess what? Jenn was outspent in her Delegate race too. People told her constantly she had no chance. Well, she won. And I know she will win again if we remain focused and dig deep.
If Jenn wins, she will make history in Virginia as the first woman to serve as governor for the state and nationwide as the first Black woman governor.

This campaign is run on grassroots support. We need another 150 grassroots donors to step up before Sunday to help us have the show of strength we need for the final 85 days before voting starts. You read that right, 85 days. Contribute now.

Jennifer Carroll Foy for Governor

Jennifer Carroll Foy was born and raised in Petersburg. In 2017, she flipped a Republican district as a first-time candidate pregnant with twins. During her time as Delegate, Jennifer championed the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, helped expand Medicaid to 400,000 Virginians, and advocated for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable communities.

She has a career of public service and it started long before 2017. As a public defender, Jennifer helped give a voice to the often voiceless — children, people suffering from addiction, those experiencing homelessness, those with mental illness, and the poor.

Now she’s running to be the first woman elected Governor of Virginia and serve as the first Black woman to be governor nationwide. Help her make history. Donate now.
