The State of the American Dream

Join us online on Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. CST for our next Engage at the Bush Center, presented by Highland Capital Management program. Cullum Clark, the Director of the George W. Bush Institute – SMU Economic Growth Initiative, will moderate a discussion on what the American Dream means in 2021. This theme will also be explored in the upcoming edition of the Bush Institute's digital journal of ideas, The Catalyst.

Clark will be joined by Jaylon Smith, a Dallas Cowboys linebacker; Jorge Lima, Senior Vice President of Policy at Americans for Prosperity; and Dionne Gumbs, CEO and Founder of GenEQTY.
