You may have heard by now, John,
but I’m taking a hard look at running to represent
Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate.

I’ve got two huge factors to consider as I weigh this decision: The first
is how it’ll affect my family and my kids — that’ll always be number one.
But the second is how much early, grassroots support we think we’ll be
able to count on from folks
like you.

That’s why today my team and I are setting our *first-ever* monthly
fundraising goal as I seriously consider entering this race.

Launching a campaign the right way is an expensive, labor-intensive
process — and frankly, it’s not the kind of thing I can pull off alone.
That’s why I’m coming to you as we strive to build the kind of early
momentum it’ll take to launch a campaign that can actually go the
distance.

Look John, I know times are
tough right now. That’s why it’s so important to me that you know exactly
what a contribution to our campaign means at this early stage.

Every bit of support that comes our way goes straight towards things like
planning our organizing strategy, staffing up our core team, and running
ads to grow the size and strength of our campaign. And the honest truth is
that a dollar today will have an outsized impact on what kind of campaign
we’ll be able to launch.

Pennsylvania is
going to be home to the *most* important Senate race in 2022, and to win
we’ll need to build a giant grassroots campaign to fight for every county
and every vote.
