Lauren's Insane Week.
She Knows She's in Congress... Right?
Congresswoman Boebert holding a Glock pistol that was gifted to her this week by a Colorado chapter of Bikers for Trump. According to ethics rules, members of congress may not receive gifts valued at or over $50.
Well folks, you hate to hear it, but it was another week rife with Boebert scandals.

Things got started on Monday when video emerged of Rep Boebert graciously accepting a custom Glock-19 pistol given to her by a Colorado chapter of the Bikers for Trump organization.

Colorado and national political reporters were quick to let her know that she had committed an egregious violation of the House of Representatives' ethics policy which mandates that sitting members of Congress may not accept any gifts valued at over $50.

Only after things reached a fever pitch with the national press did Boebert concede and agree to pay the valued price of the pistol. However, that wasn't the only heat that Boebert would take from the American public and national press this week...

By Thursday, Rep Boebert had returned to her regularly scheduled programming of hate-mongering, tweeting the below message to Parkland school shooting survivor David Hogg:
Boebert's tweet appeared to be in solidarity with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-FL) who was in the spotlight this week after two videos of the Congresswoman harassing Hogg emerged. Hogg was quick on his feet with a response, replying:
Boebert's tweet was quickly condemned by members of Congress, the media, the Lincoln Project, and a priest who absolutely demolished her:
Sorry Lauren, we don't make the rules but we're pretty sure if a priest dunks on you this badly you have to delete your account.
We can and must put a stop to the Colorado GOP's blatant support for violence.
We aim to strengthen Colorado’s Democratic congressional majority and expand it by laying the groundwork (registering voters, running ads, canvassing, and getting out the vote) to unseat the remaining three Republican congressional representatives in our state.
The Colorado Turnout Project is a coalition of pissed off students, activists, veterans, and Coloradans from all walks of life who are fed up with the Colorado House Republican delegation’s complicity in our nation's venomous political atmosphere.

We cannot allow Congresswoman Boebert, Congressman Buck, and Congressman Lamborn to remain in office and radicalize even more vulnerable Coloradans. The time to stand up is now.
