Travel update in Nottingham 29 January - 5 February
Covid-19 vaccination centres
To help people get to their Covid-19 vaccine appointments as safely and easily as possible, we’re providing free travel to concessionary card holders before 9.30am.
This applies to both Nottingham and Nottinghamshire concessionary card holders making an essential journey to receive their vaccine. Just present your appointment letter with your card when boarding.
For more information on travel to vaccination centres, visit our website.
The Medilink will now be serving Kings Meadow vaccination site as part of its route to provide people with more travel options.
Stay home to save lives this lockdown
You must not leave, or be outside of your home except where necessary:
- work, where you cannot reasonably work from home
- accessing education and for caring responsibilities
- visiting those in your support bubble
- visiting hospital, GP and other medical appointments
- buying goods or services that you need, but this should be within your local area wherever possible
- outdoor exercise
- attending the care and exercise of an animal, or veterinary services
If you need to travel you should stay local – meaning avoiding travelling outside of your village, town or the part of a city where you live – and look to reduce the number of journeys you make overall.

Get involved by taking part in our public consultation, ending Sunday 21 February, and let us know what you think of our proposals.
