I want to be clear with you about why I'm asking for your donation right now. Yes, thanks to your support I just won re-election. And no, this upcoming end-of-month goal isn't the most important deadline I've ever faced.

But right now, we have our best chance in a decade to pass landmark legislation for the American people. President Biden has already signed executive orders to begin healing our country. For the first time in years, Muslim families no longer face a hateful faith-based ban and can finally reunite. Transgender folks can proudly serve in our military. And our country is finally taking action to prepare for and mitigate climate change by rejoining the Paris accords.

And folks, we can do so much more.
