When people call years like this an “off” year, I kinda have to chuckle.

During this “off” year, the Maine Dems will be working hard to:

*Boost our organizing capacity in rural districts;
*Make sure Craig Hickman wins his special election on March 9 for a vital State Senate seat;
*Live our values by promoting racial equity and justice;
*Build our bench by contesting every race, including the hundreds of municipal races across the state;
*Strengthen our state party infrastructure from the bottom up;
*Register new voters;
*Lay the foundation for vital races for Congress, Governor, State House, and State Senate.

We aren’t taking this year off, and I hope that you won’t either. That’s why I am asking you to donate $20.22 to help the Maine Dems build for victory this year, next year, and beyond. [ [link removed] ]

Elections aren’t won in the final few days, they are won by putting in the work over the course of months and years. When Democrats win, it means a win for working families, for the environment, for reproductive health, for trusting science, for racial justice. If we want to keep Maine blue, if we want to make sure Republicans don’t claw back control of the Blaine House, or the State House and Senate, then we need you on our side now. We have our first deadline of the year coming up in just two days. Let’s make sure we start this year “on” the right foot.
