A statement from Maverick PAC USA's Board of Directors

The Board has taken time to reflect on the violent attack of the Capitol building, speak to our members across the country, and as a volunteer-led organization, think about our path forward.
We share the sadness of our fellow Americans who saw our democracy cruelly assaulted with a violent, lawless attack on our Capitol. That building is both a beautiful symbol of our most cherished democratic values and the literal heart of our government. It is especially important for so many of our members who have served in that building.
The Board unequivocally denounces the violence of January 6th, 2021. Civility, decency, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law demands no less, especially as we continue our mission to build a party that reflects those values.
We remain incredibly optimistic about the future of the Republican Party. Our premier national network of conservative, young business professionals will continue to play a leading role in the coming years of the GOP.

Libby Ediger & Wesley Hunt Join MavPAC's National Board
We are excited to announce the new additions to MavPAC's National Board. Libby Ediger has been an active member in two chapters and co-chairs Maverick Women. Wesley Hunt, a Future 40 recipient and member of our Houston chapter, is a graduate of West Point and served as a combat helicopter pilot in Iraq. We're excited to have Libby and Wesley join the Board.

Chapter Leader Profile
Dominic Chan - Northern California
|
|
Dominic Chan heads business development at a leading technology investment bank based in San Francisco. He works with private equity executives and technology CEOs on deal sourcing, capital raises, and M&A advisory. He served on the Board of Directors at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco ArtPoint, and the San Francisco Symphony’s Symphonix League.
Chan has been involved with MavPAC since 2016, when he was introduced to the organization through friends who served together on the finance committee for Governor Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign. He currently co-chairs the San Francisco chapter along with Andrew McClure and Jackie Rooney, and served on the 2020 Future 40 Committee and Candidate Selection Committee.
Q: What's your favorite thing about MavPAC?
A: My favorite thing about MavPAC is the community of people across the nation. Everyone is driven, leaders in their respective professions, and all share similar ideals and values. I’ve made some wonderful friends through the organization. I frequently travel for work, and still remember one time we had an impromptu MavPAC gathering at a rooftop NYC bar – NYC, SF, Kansas City, and Dallas chapters all representing. It’s like one big family!
Q: What is your favorite MavPAC memory/moment?
A: I’m going to have to list two. The 2017 MavCon in Washington, D.C. was an absolute blast, including the afterparty at Hawthorne! A few years ago there was a Christmas holiday dinner hosted by the NYC Chapter at Yale Club, and 20 members of Congress showed up. It was a very well attended yet intimate event and was an amazing way to kick off the holidays.
