In early March, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak will unveil the 2021 Budget. We'll be publishing a full-page newspaper advert at this time, urging the government to scrap its commitment to replacing Trident and pivot towards a socially useful manufacturing policy instead.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've seen a shift from military to medical manufacturing, with companies that produce arms making essential equipment like ventilators instead.
It's time to make this change to socially useful production permament; to redefine our industry and economy for the post-COVID world. Getting rid of Trident is central to this.
Trident replacement costs £205 billion: money that must be spent on a properly-funded NHS and a sustainable energy sector.
