Navigating the Rapids: How America Can Avoid Another Nationalist Administration

Democracy is an exploration. All of us traveling on the same vessel not knowing what lies ahead, but all getting there together…wherever that may be. As passengers on this journey, 2020 was as turbulent a year as many of us have experienced in our lifetimes. While we may have negotiated the rapids last year, it is increasingly important that society does not forget that rapids precede falls. The Trump administration was terrible, but his supporters and working-class citizens are not going anywhere, and their economic grievances will find another champion. It needs to be a Socialist.

Join us for a presentation on the role and purpose of democracy in our organization and a rundown of our rules and procedures. The chapter belongs to the membership, so come learn how it works and how we can work together to make it better!
