Hello,

Of all the things Mike Shirkey could comment on from Governor Whitmer's State of the State address — vaccine roll out, small businesses support, common ground, etc. — he STILL found a way to attack her physical appearance. I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not.

This is the same Mike Shirkey who said Michigan's militia groups got a "bad rap" so he met with them to "improve" their messaging. What's even more concerning? The meeting took place a month before the FBI foiled a militia group's plot to kidnap and murder our Governor.

We know exactly what to expect heading into 2022: Republicans' sexist attacks on Governor Whitmer are only going to get worse. We also know that the only way to deal with a bully is to stand firm and fight back with everything you've got.

Rush a donation towards our end-of-month goal to send a clear and unmistakable message that we stand with Governor Whitmer against Republican's increasingly partisan attacks:

Thanks for having Governor Whitmer's back,
