John, no one should be forced to work alongside a co-worker who has threatened their lives and the lives of their colleagues. But that's exactly what's happening on Capitol Hill right now.
Every day we're learning more about the Republican members of Congress who incited violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6. And in the case of some — like Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene — the incitement started long before then.
According to CNN, Greene has for years promoted far-right conspiracies like QAnon, in addition to anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic propaganda. She also liked comments calling for violence against and the assassination of prominent Democratic elected officials.
We are living through multiple crises and we need Congress to meet this moment. But there will be no progress without accountability first. We need Congress to do both.
Will you rush a contribution of $5 or more toward our end-of-month goal of $25,000 so we can keep up our fight for jobs and care and accountability in 2021?

We finally have an opportunity to build a country that cares for us all. But those with no regard for the basic fundamentals of our democracy cannot be trusted to lead us out of this crisis, and we won't stop fighting until we see true justice.
In solidarity,
All of us at the Working Families Party
